Girl on Vibration Machine
Type Vibration Training into Google to read articles about Machines, Training and Therapy, what a vibration training program looks like, weightloss, and more. The site invites questions and discussion.
You’ll soon learn how to evaluate a machine for your specific needs and also a lot about vibration exercise programs.
So what’s wrong with the picture at right? I don’t know the machine brand so I wont comment on that except to say that Straps are basically a waste of time. You pull on the straps while the platform vibrates and that works out your arms – well that’s the reasoning but you wont be pulling the straps evenly so each arm will be getting a different force plus you will tire and lessen your pull so that’s even less force. My suggestion is to use the straps with the machine turned off.
How long will it be before manufacturers design machines with side handle bars and do away with straps?
Also side handlebars are essential for therapy squats on the machine, to take pressure off the hips and knees. And making the handlebars vibrate in opposition to the platform adds another dimension to workout or therapy. Thank you to Vibra-Train – I’ve been using vibrating handlebars recently to help rehabilitate after a shoulder and arm injury. No regular machine could have helped me!
Now, what’s wrong with the pose the girl on the machine is holding? Lots! Her toes look to be pointed outward. I’ve seen this in some brand’s programs but feet straight, toes pointing forward puts the body in perfect alignment for the squat. She’s looking to the side and so putting strain on her neck and making her shoulders uneven. Well I guess that’s just for the picture and the machine isn’t even turned on but her head should be in line with her body looking ahead downward a little. Her squat is a little too high or maybe it’s that her whole squat is weird – again those straps are doing more harm than good.
Finally, you don’t need to wear skimpy clothing and be a skinny blonde chick to work out on a Vibration Machine (although the male trainers love it if you are). It’s for all sizes and ages and clothing just needs to be comfortable with flat shoes.
