Balancing Hormones 3 – Libido

I was asked if Vibration Training could lift a woman’s libido.

It’s a good question and the simple answer is Yes but of course there’s so much more involved.  There are so many reasons that women avoid sexual involvement and some of these reasons will not be solved by a simple “shake-up” on a vibration machine a few times each week.  It would be every man’s dream come true if it were so and I’m sure we ladies could easily get our partners to pay for our Vibration Training costs as they would benefit greatly.

Leaving aside emotional and psychological reasons for loss of libido, we have physical and mental tiredness which has many causes.  Even just “life”, the ongoing daily demands that can bring on fatigue and loss of energy, can cause loss of interest in sexual activity especially if it is seen as another “chore” at the end of a busy day rather than a time of mutual pleasure and refreshment.  This is where exercise and taking time out for oneself can help.

dreamstimefree_407008I’ve only had one woman tell me she has increased libido since she came to Vibra-Train but it’s not exactly a topic of regular conversation in the studio in the mornings, unlike the afternoons when there is a  male instructor and the conversation is often about libidinous, sensual desires.

So while I can’t give examples I can give many reasons why vibration training will correct a flagging libido.  Mood elevation occurs as a result of increases in brain levels of serotonin.  Some customers report feeling “high” after their session and this feeling continues long after they leave the studio.  I remind them to eat or they might come “down” as this is serious exercise and places high demands on the body.

The benefits of Vibration Training, on high energy platforms, that I’ve written about before include increased energy, body toning, fat-loss, mood elevation/stress reduction,  muscle growth and strength which in turn supports bone health, all add to relaxation and so, in many people increased libido.  Add in balancing of hormones, reduction in estrogen dominance, which plagues many women, plus increases in the body’s production of and absorption of progesterone making  a more balanced female cycle and yes, I believe an increase in libido is a normal and expected result.

Great article, well written! As you state, there are many causes of decreased libido but the balance of hormones or lack thereof, is crucial in evaluating sexual health. I see the reduction of fat to be a great contributor in balancing estrogen/progesterone. With extra estrogen being stored in body fat, it stands to reason that if you can burn that fat, the hormone balance will naturally fall in place. Estrogen dominance is such a plague!
    Thanks for furthering awareness!
