<p><span class="firstbit">Copyright aims to balance private property rights with 	specific public rights</span> in a way that encourages innovation in the arts, 	business, culture, and public commentary.  But if the balance is not 	right, innovation is stifled.  If  <a title="section 92" href="http://creativefreedom.org.nz/s92.html" target="_blank">section 92</a> comes into effect then public rights will be 	drastically undermined by a law that automatically treats people as criminals.</p>
<p>Laws regulating the act of copying have failed to keep pace with technology 		and <strong>soon ISPs will be forced to take down internet 		connections and websites 		of anyone accused (not convicted) of copyright infringement.</strong> Copyright law is now having the effect of 		limiting artists, 		restricting businesses, 		and harming public rights.  For more information See:<a href="http://creativefreedom.org.nz/goals.html"></a></p>
